My name is Stacie Shapiro and I am the proud owner of Paws and Claws Westfield. In 2017 I started a pet sitting company which turned into one of the largest pet sitting companies in Carmel and I personally did over 1,500 visits yearly. In 2021, when I struggled to find quality help, I sold my business and focused on my family and travel. I have recently decided to re-open my business under the name Paws and Claws Westfield with a primary focus on cat care as well as some limited dog care. 

 

Just like humans, each pet has its own personality with likes and dislikes. I tailor my service to meet the needs of you and your pets. Whether it is prepping a special meal, giving meds, being brushed, special play time, the focus is on your pet being as happy as they are when you are at home. I have taken care of animals from very
young ages to the ones that have aged and need that special help and TLC. I have received training in first aid, and I am insured.
 
I am in business for myself but as is critical in this business, I have trusted back-up people to ensure continuity of care if I were to have a personal emergency. These trusted people include my husband who has done hundreds of visits over the years as well as a pet lovers that used to work for me. 

As a pet care professional, I feel it is important to give back to the community by supporting our animals through the Red Cross, the Humane Society and the Indianapolis Zoo.
